Automobiles in Germany's City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities mentioned they were alerted by a individual who discovered a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Approximately 50 cars have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement state they were notified during the night on Wednesday, when a individual observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they stated.

Law enforcement then found many other vandalized vehicles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under regulations outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Police report preliminary tests suggest the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; officials are not yet cognizant of any physical harm in connection with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have asked to the community for tips.

A high-ranking political figure stated the vandalism made him speechless and had to be addressed quickly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and revives the trauma of the extremist terrorist attack half a decade ago," he wrote on social media, recalling the murder of nine victims by a gunman targeting residents of migrant background in February 2020.
